A well drawn open armchair by the renowned Gillows of Lancasters, England c1860. Raised on Mahogany legs and arm supports and retaining the original gilt bras Cope and Collinson brass casters. Both back legs bearing the makers mark.

Structurally in good solid order and requiring upholstery. We still have the original buttoned horsehair innards for the back and arms. This was removed for photographs.

As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
