A fine early 19th century open armchair attributed to Gillows of Lancasters. English c1830. The Rosewood frame with shaped back and carved arm fronts raised on turned and reeded front legs and splayed rear legs, all with the original brass casters.
Structurally in good solid order.
The fabric with needlework in back and sides of the seat. The seat top appears to have had the original needlework refitted to a fresh piece of fabric.
We can of course change the fabric should you wish.
