A rather well drawn Gothic tub back armchair on the most wonderful square chamfered front legs and splayed and chamfered back legs. All 4 legs are unusually made from pitch pine and retain the original Copes casters.
An unstamped chair, attributed to Gillows of Lancaster, England c1860
Structurally in good order and retaining the original upholstery around the arms and back with the seat being a later replacement.
As with all our upholstered seating we do offer upholstery should you wish.
