A superb mid 19th century English Chaise Longue by Holland & Sons - London c1840. Raised on 4 turned mahogany legs and the original Cope & Collinson gilt brass cup casters. One back bearing the Holland makers stamp. 

The frame is structurally in good solid order. We would recommend replacing the internal fillings on this as the upholstery seems not to have been carried out by a professional. It will also better show the shape of the frame which is more elegant than the current upholstery suggests.
