A mid 19th century low, deep seated country house open armchair by Howard & Sons - London c1860. This early model is raised on turned walnut front legs and arm supports with short back legs and all retaining the original Cope & Collinson gilt brass casters.
The chair has been fully restored by us from the frame up with brand new seat springs and we have reused the original fillings where possible. It has been covered in a reproduction of the blue and white H&S printed cotton lining ready to be used as is or for you choice of top covering.
