large scale pair of bergere chairs with finely carved hairy claw feet. In good country house condition! Very deep seated and extremely comfortable. I think the fabric really suits these chairs and definitely gives them a country house look. The carving to the frames is exquisite and is evidence of there quality, the cushions are feather filled with horse hair on the arms and back! One of the back cushions has a 50p sized repair to the top of the at the back.
