An elegant and William IV 'Propper' country house Library armchair. Raised on turned mahogany front legs and splayed rear legs, all with the original casters. Retaining its original Horsehair filled squab seat cushion and in antique fabric which is in faded country house condition.
Provenance. Powderham Castle, Devon - England. Home to the Early of Devon.
Structurally in good solid order.
