A wonderful early 19th century Rosewood open armchair probably by Gillows. The back leg stamped with the initials RC which likely donates to Robert Cornah as recorded in the Gillows log for Apprentices, workman and tradesmen.
Raised on turned front legs and beautifully splayed to the rear, all with the original Cope & Collinson brass casters. Finely carved knuckles and an all over elegancy shape.
Retaining its original seat and back upholstery.
As with all my upholstered seating I do offer upholstery should yow wish
