A very good quality mid 19th century open armchair. The walnut frame raised on beautifully turned walnut legs and the original gilt brass Cope & Collinson brass casters.
Unstamped but probably by Howard & Sons c1860
Provenance: The Guinness family sale at Elveden Hall - Norfolk
A good solid chair ready for upholstery.
