A shapely mid 19th century open armchair. The walnut frame on turned legs and splayed rear legs, all with the original Cope & Collinson gilt brass casters. One rear leg stamped 'W Bryson' Referring to William Bryson who's work is attributed to Holland & Sons either as an employee by the firm or works commissioned for the London based firm.
The frame of the chair is sound with no loose joints. It has a dry patina which we like however this can be refinished to taste.
Retaining its original Horsehair fillings and for upholstery.
