A well drawn mid 19th century country house chesterfield sofa which retains its original fabric, buttoned and sprung fillings to the arms, back and seat which all remain in comfortable condition. We believe this sofa has only had one additional covering which we have removed. The frame is constructed in Oak and Birch with 4 turned mahogany legs and all retain the original brass casters. The timber which is in remarkably well preserved condition is in good solid order with tight joint.
