Handmade Afghan kilim rug footstool #35
Handmade Afghan kilim rug footstool #35

A khudrang rug is made using only natural wool and is not dyed. Khudrang simply means "its own colour"
The naturalistic look of these stools makes them very easy to integrate seamlessly into almost any interior.
Afghanistan is the historical centre of hand made rugs in Asia, and the craftsmanship of rug weaving in Afghanistan dates back millennia. The rugs I use for my stools are ethically sourced from the conflict stricken regions and are made by small nomadic tribal village's. The unique craftsmanship skills are passed down through generations of family and each rug can take countless hours to make.
