An 18th/early 19th century Elm East Anglian Ball back reclining armchair. This chair has had a good well used life evident in the old iron repair to the left back support and the wear to the original finish. Constructed in elm with a bowed seat and reclining mechanism which lets the back rest recline almost fully flat. Although the back does have the repairs its worth noting that the structure of the chair is very firm and very much ready for use.
