A superb 19th century open arm sofa almost certainly by Howard and sons. Upholstered in Rose Uniacke teddy cotton velvet and raised on ebonised and gilt walnut legs and arm supports. Retaining its original Cope and Collinson Brass casters. The bottom stretcher replaced by us and cut from a template off an original Howard. c1860
