A wonderful 19th century Elm cutlers stool. These stools were used in factories and have 3 legs to sit evenly on uneven floors. The ribbed turned legs are specific to stools used in the cutlery factories of the famous steel city of Sheffield and in fact this stool came from a factory in Sheffield that has just closed its doors, it has never been more than 30 miles in its life.
