A pair of 19th century pine Campaign carrying cases which likely were used to transport a Campaign chest of drawers. Both in the original and attractively worn black paint  with protective metal cladding to the corners. They are an exact match in the sizes which makes them ideal to be used as 2 individual units or stacked into 1 larger unit. 

Overall in good solid order with a few losses, scratches and wear to the paint. 

Paper labels to the tops of both chests reads 'Henderson line' 'Contomichalos' 'Drake @Co ltd' and 'Port of Sudan' These labels seem to have been attached for the return back to Liverpool , England. The CDC Written to the door fronts is likely an abbreviation for Contomichalos Drake @Co ltd
