Our range of footstools is lovingly hand crafted in the heart of west Yorkshire using traditional methods and materials.
We offer a bespoke service tailored to you specifications giving you the freedom to choose your own fabric, colour of legs and castors to suit your taste.
Our frames are made using locally sourced 3 by 2 inch sapele which is a hard wood and is sure to last the test of time.
The legs too are locally sourced and each is individually hand turned using Sapele, Ash or tulipwood.
The castors we use are made from casts of original 18th and 19th century originals, a process called 'lost wax casting'. They come in two finishes, polished brass or antique. The ones shown are the antique finish.
The cushioned top is hand stuffed by us using pure wool and buttoned through to the base which helps keep the fibres in place giving it longevity.
The model shown here is £1800 covered in vintage Indian crewel work on cotton with a white wool base. The legs are rosewood stained Brazilian mahogany and have Large spoked early 19th century lost wax castors. There are some marks to the top fabric.
150cm wide, 80cm deep, 44cm high.
