19th century pine curved tavern settle in its original worn crusty glaze painted finish. The high backs were originally designed to keep drafts away from when siting next to a hot fire on cold windy days. This one although not perfect it does have plenty of character showing through and would work great at a kitchen table or in rustic pub setting.
It appear that the left hand side has at some point in its life been replaced. Its also has some patches of historic worm that do not effect its use and the whole is structurally sound.
