A curvaceous mid 19th century walnut sofa and although unstamped this is almost certainly by Gillows. Raised on 4 very nicely carved legs with the original cope and Collinson strong brass casters. The quality of the show wood throughout this sofa is simply outstanding and a testament to the skills synonymous to the craftsmanship of the Victorian era. English c1860
Structurally in good order and only needing upholstery. We do have the original seat pad but due to the state of the webbing we removed it along with the springs.
