This early 20th century oil on canvas depicts one of the worlds most recognizable buildings, notre dame. As if it wasn't already famous enough notre dame made headline news in 2019 when it was ravaged by a fire destroying 100's of years worth of history. Hundreds of millions of pounds from across the world were donated to get this magnificent building to somewhere near its former glory.
The building also gave birth to the story "the hunchback of Notre dame" and if you look hard enough you may even find Quasimodo lurking in the shadows.
